Here's an update about the situation in the Middle East

***Live Ticker: Last Update June 30, 2025***

As tensions in the Middle East have eased, Hapag-Lloyd has reassessed the regional security environment and has resumed normal operations at the Port of Haifa, Israel.

We are pleased to inform you that cargo acceptance for Haifa-bound shipments on our East Med Shuttle 3 (EM3) service has resumed, joining our Atlantic Loop 7 (AL7) service, which has continued to call the port. This marks a return to full service capacity at Haifa.

In addition, operations in and around the Strait of Hormuz are currently continuing as normal. We are closely monitoring developments in the region, and at this time, no disruptions to our services transiting the strait are anticipated. However, please note that the situation remains dynamic and may change at any time. We remain vigilant and prepared to take immediate action should circumstances require.

As always, the safety of our crews and cargo remains our highest priority. We continue to engage with relevant authorities and port operators and will communicate any further changes via our Operational Updates section on the Hapag-Lloyd website.

Should you need further assistance, please reach out to your local Hapag-Lloyd representative.
