Here’s an update on SOC Acceptance and Compliance Requirements
To ensure seamless operations and ensure full compliance, we are sharing the following information with all customers using shipper-owned containers (SOC).
In line with our commitment to reliable and compliant service, Hapag-Lloyd cannot accept containers owned or linked to Iran, Russia, or Belarus. We kindly ask you to refrain from booking any shipments with us that involve such containers. This policy safeguards your supply chain from potential disruption and aligns with international regulations.
Please note the following:
- Containers identified by the following prefixes (including but not limited to) are strictly prohibited: AGIU, ALXU, BANU, FMCU, HDXU, IRSU, KGNU, PESU, SBAU, TDIU, XANU, XBIU, FESU, BYTU, CBKU, CGVU, MAAU, NMKU, RZZU, SSFU, SSGU, TPPU, TRZU, VDXU, RZDU and SSEU.
- Any restricted container identified during transit will be offloaded at the customer’s cost and associated legal or financial liabilities (including third-party damages) will remain the customer’s responsibility.
