Operational disruptions across Northern Europe: Network-wide impact and expected delays

We would like to inform you that severe winter weather conditions across Northern Europe continue to significantly affect terminal operations and inland transport capacity. As a result, port operations across Northern Europe are impacted - directly and indirectly - due to disruptions and dependencies across the wider network.

Terminals in Hamburg, Rotterdam, Antwerp, and the North of France are operating at reduced productivity and may temporarily suspend activities. Ongoing operational challenges are also expected in Bremerhaven and Wilhelmshaven. In addition, extended truck and rail transit times are reducing inland capacity and may affect carrier haulage performance in the coming days.

We are also seeing congestion in several European ports, especially Hamburg, Rotterdam, and Antwerp, with vessels waiting at anchorage. To maintain service reliability and limit disruption, we may divert selected vessels to alternative ports of discharge, where feasible.

Please note that any additional costs arising as a consequence of these severe weather conditions will be for account of the cargo.
