A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) update is coming into effect for cargo from China, Southeast Asia, and Korea to the ports of Luanda, Lobito, Cabinda (Angola), Pointe Noire (Congo Brazzaville), Matadi, Boma (DR Congo), Libreville, Port Gentil (Gabon), Kribi, Douala (Cameroon), Walvis Bay (Namibia), Nouakchott (Mauritania), Dakar (Senegal), Banjul (Gambia), Freetown (Sierra Leone), Monrovia (Liberia) Conakry (Guinea) and Bata, Malabo (Equitorial Guinea).

In addition, a separate PSS applies to cargo from Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and Fiji, covering the ports of Freetown (Sierra Leone), Monrovia (Liberia), and Conakry (Guinea).

Both PSS measures are applicable to all cargo loaded on April 8, 2026 (on board date) until further notice.

PSS update for all other destinations than Conakry (Guinea)

  • USD 500 per TEU
  • All container types

PSS update to Conakry (Guinea)

  • USD 2200 per TEU
  • All container types
