Connecting People, Strengthening Partnerships: Hapag-Lloyd at Intermodal South America
This year again, Hapag-Lloyd participated in Intermodal South America in São Paulo, one of the largest logistics events in Latin America, bringing together over 500 exhibitors and more than 40,000 visitors.
The event provided a strong platform to showcase our strategic direction under Strategy 2030 and our new pledge “Your cargo, our promise,”.
Throughout the fair, the focus was on engaging directly with customers and partners, strengthening relationships, and exploring new business opportunities. The strong international presence and close collaboration across the global network once again highlighted how essential partnerships and personal interaction are for long-term success. A frequently raised questions during the fair concerned our intended deal with ZIM and how it will improve our offering, reflecting the strong interest in this topic among customers and partners.

The participation in the Intermodal event in São Paulo reinforced how essential close collaboration between partners is for success in international maritime transport. Moments like these strengthen relationships, enable valuable exchanges on market scenarios and challenges, and bring people closer beyond day-to-day remote interactions. This in-person connection is also highly valued by our customers, who recognize the importance of direct contact and open conversations especially with Hapag-Lloyd, our key partner.
To further connect with visitors, we had a dynamic and interactive digital experience at the booth. A series of memory games - featuring themes such as vessels, containers, sustainability, diversity, and our quality campaign – added a playful element while strengthening brand awareness and bringing “Your cargo, our promise” to life.

We’re already looking forward to the next edition from April 13 to 15, 2027 – ready to raise the bar even further and deliver greater impact for our customers.
