AMS24 hours manifest filing
Please note following countries require mandatory electronic transmission of complete cargo manifest by all Ocean carriers or NVOCCs to respective customs at least 24 hours prior to loading of container on the vessel.
List of countries:
- USA
- Canada
- European countries
- Japan
- China
- Turkey
This measure has been taken to identify cargo of high risk before they reach the destination.
In order to assist, Hapag Lloyd will continue to send two reminders to the customers email address registered to receive Draft BL copies.
Please note we will not be sending additional reminders or making follow up phone calls to customers who have not sent their accurate shipping instructions, prior to the documentation cut off.
If accurate & complete shipping instructions are not received before cut of it could result in cargo being put on HOLD or having to be re-planned on next available vessel based on operational feasibility. This results in additional handling, storage and shifting cost at port which will be billed to the shipper.
