Important Update – Dangerous Goods Documentation (North America)
Effective February 23, 2026
Dear Customer,
We are introducing a simplified and more reliable process for submitting Dangerous Goods (DG) documentation for North America shipments. This change is designed to make the submission process clearer, faster, and less prone to errors.
Effective February 23, 2026, all DG documentation for North America shipments (with the exception of our Long Beach and US Flag Booking offices) must be submitted exclusively through the Booking Amendment Tool in the customer portal.
Using a single standardized channel helps reduce back and forth communication, minimizes documentation errors, and ensures you receive timely and accurate DG confirmation updates. Please note that DG documentation submitted via email or any non portal method after this date will no longer be accepted.
The Booking Amendment Tool should be used to submit new DG details, update existing information, or convert shipments from Non DG to DG. When submitting a DG amendment, please select “Change DG Information,” upload all required supporting documents (e.g., Preliminary/IMO forms, Safety Data Sheets, tank certificates), and provide a clear description of the requested change.
If you experience any technical issues with the tool, please contact your customer service representative or local support team. We are here to assist and ensure your shipments remain compliant.
Thank you for your cooperation and for supporting safe, compliant, and efficient DG handling. We appreciate your partnership as we transition to this improved process.
