Philippines: Operational Delays for Reefer Import Shipments at MICT

Please be advised that reefer import shipments bound for MICT may experience delays due to exceptionally high yard utilization at the terminal.

Effective June 1, 2026, MICT will implement additional measures aimed at improving terminal operations, and Hapag-Lloyd is working closely with the terminal to support these efforts.

Until a sustained improvement is achieved, Hapag-Lloyd reserves the right to recover any additional costs arising from this situation, including changes of destination, storage charges, additional freight, and other related expenses, where applicable and in accordance with tariff and contract terms.

To help reduce yard congestion and support faster cargo release, customers are encouraged to arrange direct pick-ups wherever possible.
