South Africa: Fuel Neutrality Charge update for Transnet Port Terminals and Durban Gateway terminals

As previously announced, Transnet implemented a Fuel Neutrality Charge effective May 1, 2026. The charge applies per container to all containers entering or exiting Transnet Port Terminals and Durban Gateway terminals.

Based on the coastal diesel price of ZAR 23.91 as of July 1, 2026, the Fuel Neutrality Charge will be adjusted to ZAR 52.00 per container. The revised charge will apply to all containers handled on vessels berthing from August 1, 2026.
