Venezuela: Update on port operations in La Guaira and Puerto Cabello

Following the recent seismic events in Venezuela, the Venezuelan Transport Authority has confirmed that ports nationwide remain operational. 

La Guaira has been designated as an emergency operations center. As a result, port operations at La Guaira are being redirected to Puerto Cabello while the port authorities assess the infrastructure and define plans for the safe resumption of activities at La Guaira. 

Due to this situation, MV SKYLIGHT V.028E will omit its call at La Guaira and discharge import cargo at Puerto Cabello, Venezuela. 

Please also note that empty containers must be returned at Puerto Cabello / Sogebusa Depot. 

This adjustment may affect cargo planning and container return arrangements for shipments linked to La Guaira. Our teams continue to monitor the situation and will provide further updates as they become available.
