South Africa – New Import Customs Regulation

South African Customs Authorities have notified us that they will be implementing a new legislation effective March 1, 2018.

For all cargo imported into South Africa, the SAFE rule would be mandatory and therefore we are required to submit our EDI manifest 24 hour prior to loading at the load or transhipment port.
