Further to our CustomerInfo of March 25, 2019, we would like to confirm that at this point the status reported earlier has not changed.
In respect of those containers already discharged and ready for on-carriage, yet cannot be reloaded back on the vessel, we anticipate to conclude an arrangement for transshipment to an alternative discharge port shortly and shall keep you informed in this regard.
Whilst the undamaged cargo is to remain on board the “Yantian Express” as previously advised, its departure from Freeport is still subject to final results of technical inspections and execution of inevitable repairs to ensure seaworthiness of the vessel.
Likewise, the final port of call for “Yantian Express” is still to be nominated and we will advise further on this aspect as soon as approvals from port authorities concerned are at hand.
Finally, we would kindly remind all cargo interests who have not taken necessary action as yet, to promptly contact the Average Adjuster in order to arrange for the posting of General Average and Salvage security to safeguard that their cargo can be released in a timely manner.
