Hapag-Lloyd announces the new South East India - Europe Express (IEX)

In order to further strengthen and optimize our presence in South-East India, Colombo and Bangladesh with connections to and from North Europe, we are pleased to announce the launch of the new South East India – Europe Express (IEX) service.

The IEX will be the first dedicated direct product in this market with a fixed-weekly service, commencing October 26 from Visakhapatnam. The service will be jointly operated with COSCO, ONE and YANG MING composing of 9 x 6,500 TEU vessel with four ships being deployed by Hapag-Lloyd.

The rotation will be as follows:

Visakhapatnam – Krishnapatnam – Chennai – Tuticorin – Colombo – Cochin – Damietta – Piraeus – Rotterdam – London Gateway Port – Hamburg – Antwerp – Le Havre – Damietta – Jeddah – Colombo – Visakhapatnam
