Middle East Africa Express (MIAX) – Terminal Change in Nigeria
In an effort to continuously improve our Africa services, we are pleased to announce the terminal change in Lagos, Nigeria.
Effective June 28, the Middle East Africa Express (MIAX) service will call Ports and Cargo terminal in Nigeria. The first vessel to berth at Ports and Cargo will be “Mozart” (Voyage 2020E). The change of terminal will further enhance our direct India / Middle-East / South Africa – West Africa connection by offering the following advantages:
- Substantially reduced Berthing Delays
- Fixed Berth Window
- Modern Facility with new Mobile Harbour Cranes
- Dedicated Export Stacks for Hapag-Lloyd
- Multiple Barge operators
- Handling of Out-of-Gauge (OOG) Cargoes
