Increase of Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) – Italy to West Coast South America

Please be aware that as of February 1, 2021 or with the sailing of M/V “DIMITRA C” Voyage No. 04W05 (MGX Service) respectively M/V “DUSSELDORF EXPRESS” Voyage No. 25W04 (MPS Service), we will increase the existing Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) - implemented beginning of December last year - for all dry cargoes from Italy to the West Coast of South America only as follows:

Increase of Peak Season Surcharge for all Dry Cargoes (all type of Standard Container)

• by 100 Euro per TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit) 
• New amount: 150 EUR per TEU (Twenty Foot Equivalent Unit)

To Ecuador and Colombia (Buenaventura only) the PSS Increase will be effective February 20, 2021 only.

You will notice that this increased surcharge gives us the chance to continuously offer you the service quality you are used to when booking with us.

The increase of the implemented PSS for Dry Container (except Reefer + Special Container) is based on the current logistical and operational challenges we do face in both Regions and valid until further notice.
