Fiji - Port Congestion

In a continued effort to provide you with a high level of service, due to ongoing disruption of our network resulting from the congestion issues and delays in the ports of Auckland and Tauranga, we will apply a Congestion Surcharge in Fiji.

The Congestion Surcharge Origin / Destination (CGO/ CGD) of USD 225 per TEU will be implemented as follows:

  • Export cargo from Fiji to non-FMC trade lanes:
    – CGO effective from vessels departing Fiji on or after 20th February 2021

  • Import cargo to Fiji from non-FMC trade lanes:
    – CGD effective from vessels departing origin on or after 20th February 2021

  • Export cargo from Fiji to FMC-regulated lanes:
    – CGO effective from vessels departing Fiji on or after 22nd March 2021

  • Import cargo to Fiji from FMC-regulated lanes:
    – CGD effective from vessels departing origin on or after 22nd March 2021

We will monitor the situation and will inform you as soon as Fiji Port operations return to normal.
