We would like to raise your awareness about the pre-cooling of commodities transported in reefer containers.

In some instances Hapag-Lloyd has noticed that cargoes arrive spoilt at destination without interruptions of the cool chain or malfunctions of our reefer container.

Reefer containers are designed to maintain the temperature of your goods rather than cooling it to the required transport temperature.

In order to ensure that your cargo arrives in best possible condition at destination, it is vital that your cargo is pre-cooled & stuffed.
