Changes of the Heavy Lift Surcharge (HLC) from Region Middle East to West and South Africa

With reference to our CustomerNEWS dated February 3, 2021, please be informed about following changes of our Heavy Lift Surcharge (HLC) from Region Middle East to West and South Africa.

Effective July 1, 2021, the HLC will be applicable for cargo (+ tara) exceeding a weight of 23 tons.

Until end of June, Nouakchott and Dakar are excluded from this surcharge. As of July, HLC will be applicable for all West African ports covered by the Hapag-Lloyd portfolio.
