BNSF LPC Chicago Storage and Free Time Rules Change

Please be advised that effective with containers arriving on August 2, 2021 BNSF LPC Chicago storage and free time rules will change as follows:

LPC Chicago – storage is day of notification +24 hours

• Charge day 1-3: USD 150 per whole or partial day
• Charge day 4: USD 200 per whole or partial day
• Charge day 5+: USD 500 per whole or partial day
  

Once BNSF issues the notification, the free time clock starts at 0001 the day following the notification. Please note that weekends are included in the free time calculation. Holidays, as defined in the BNSF Intermodal Rules and Policies Guide, falling within the free time are exempt. However, once free time expires, everyday thereafter, including holidays, are subject to storage charges.
