Surcharges

Here's an update for the low water surcharge at Montreal

The St. Lawrence River water levels have decreased considerably and the latest forecasts by the Canadian Coast Guard predict further drops. Therefore, a Low Water Surcharge for all cargo moving to and through the port of Montreal (CA) will be in effect from November 1, 2022 until further notice.

The details for this surcharge are listed below:

  • Applicable to the St. Lawrence Cont. Service – Route 1 (AT1) and 2 (AT2) - westbound
  • Per Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit (TEU): USD 150

We reserve the right to adjust the surcharge on short notice, should the water levels drop beyond the currently forecasted ones.
