Shipping to Matadi, Dar Es Salaam and Dakar? A PSS is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming up from all origins into Dakar, Senegal, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania and Matadi, Democratic Republic of Congo. This PSS will be in effect for all cargo from November 22, 2023 for all ports and countries excluding North and Latin America where it will be applicable from December 8, 2023. 

For your reference, the details of this PSS are listed below:

From all ports and countries to Dakar, Senegal:

  • 20' Dry Container: USD 150 / EUR 140
  • 40' Dry Container: USD 300 / EUR 280
  • 40' | 45' High Cube Container: USD 300 / EUR 280
  • Payable with the freight
  • In effect from November 22, 2023 until further notice for all trades except North and Latin America
  • In effect from December 8, 2023 until further notice for ports and countries in North and Latin America

From all ports and countries to Dar es Salaam, Tanzania:

  • 20' Dry Container: USD 150
  • 40' Dry Container: USD 300
  • 40' | 45' High Cube Container: USD 300
  • Payable with the freight
  • In effect from November 22, 2023 until further notice for all trades except North and Latin America
  • In effect from December 8, 2023 until further notice for ports and countries in North and Latin America

From all ports and countries to Matadi, DRC:

  • 20' Dry Container: USD 200 / EUR 190
  • 40' Dry Container: USD 400 / EUR 380
  • 40' | 45' High Cube Container: USD 400 / EUR 380
  • 20’ Reefer Container: USD 200 / EUR 190
  • 40’ Reefer Container: USD 400 / EUR 380
  • Payable with the freight
  • In effect from November 22, 2023 until further notice for all trades except North and Latin America
  • In effect from December 8, 2023 until further notice for ports and countries in North and Latin America
