Shipping from Asia to Latin America? A GRI is coming up

A General Rate Increase (GRI) from Asia* to Latin America, Mexico, Caribbean and Central America* for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry containers, including High Cube equipment and 40’ Non-operative reefers is coming up. This GRI is applicable to all containers from March 1, 2024, and is valid until further notice.

The details for this increase are listed below:

• 20' Dry Container: USD 500
• 40' Dry Container: USD 800
• 40' High Cube Container: USD 800
• 40’ Non-operative Reefer Container: USD 800

For your reference, the geographical scope for this increase is explained below:

From Asia* (excluding Japan), covering the following countries: China, Macau, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos, Brunei, Taiwan, Hong Kong.

*To Latin America, Mexico, Caribbean, Central America covering the following countries: Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay
