Shipping from Asia to Oceania? A GRI is coming up

A General Rate Increase (GRI) from Asia* to Oceania** for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry (and Reefer) containers, including High Cube equipment is coming up. This GRI is applicable to all containers gated in full from March 1, 2025, and is valid until further notice.

The details for this increase are listed below:

• 20’, 40’ and High Cube equipment
• Dry, Reefer and Special Containers
• Per TEU: USD 300

From Asia*: Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam

To Oceania**: Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Island
