Shipping from Asia and Oceania to Tanzania? A PSS update is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) updates is coming into effect for Asia* and Oceania** to the port of Dar Es Salaam (Tanzania). This PSS is applicable for all cargo loaded on December 10 , 2025 (on board date) until further notice.

The details for this PSS are listed below:

  • Per TEU: USD 800
  • All container types

*Asia: Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Laos, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam

**Oceania: Australia, Cook Islands, Fiji, Micronesia, New Caledonia, New Zealand, French Polynesia, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Vanuatu, Wallis and Futuna Island
