Shipping from Asia and Oceania to East Africa? A PSS update is coming up

Surcharges Oceania Asia

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) update from China, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia and Oceania to Mombasa, Kenya, and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, is coming into effect.

This PSS is applicable to all container types for cargo loaded on board from November 1, 2026, until further notice.

The details of this PSS are listed below:

  • All container types: USD 800 per TEU
