Mundra Port: Revised export cargo gate opening window

Ports & Inland General Middle East and Indian Subcontinent India

Please note that, based on the latest information received from Mundra Port, the export cargo gate opening window will be revised from 14 days prior to ETA to 10 days prior to ETA. This change will apply from June 10, 2026.

In line with this revision, the Forwarding Note (FN) window in ODeX and the Inland Container Depot (ICD) handover timelines will also be updated as follows:

Revised ICD Handover and FN Window
Effective June 10, 2026

  • Forwarding Note (FN) opens: ETA – 10 days
  • Forwarding Note (FN) closes: ETA – 6 days

These changes are being implemented to support smooth cargo movement and timely processing under the revised port operating guidelines.

To help ensure seamless cargo flow for Liner PDA shipments, please note the following:

  • Cargo handover must be completed within the revised cut-off window.
  • Cargo dispatches should be planned in advance to avoid delays and rollover risks.
  • If a shipment misses the port gate cut-off, any rollover and associated charges will be for the customer’s account.

Please also keep in mind that ICD rail movement from the North Zone generally requires approximately 4 to 5 days of transit time. If cargo is handed over after the ICD cut-off and does not reach the port before the Full Container Load (FCL) cut-off, any resulting rollover and related charges will also be for the customer’s account.

We kindly request your cooperation in adhering to the revised timelines to avoid operational disruptions.

Should you have any questions or require further information, please contact our customer service team at your location, who will guide you based on your individual situation.
