South America – Africa Triangle Service (SAT) – – Change to Fortnightly Frequency

We are pleased to inform you that Hapag-Lloyd will further strengthen its position in the trade between South America and Africa by deploying a vessel in our SAT service and thereby continue to support your business requirements between key ports of SAEC, South Africa and Angola.

As from week 26 the service will be operated with 3 vessels in a fortnightly frequency together with our partner Nile Dutch, in following amended rotation:

Paranagua – Itajai – Santos – Durban – Luanda – Paranagua

Cargo destined to or originating from Cape Town will be connected in Durban using Hapag-Lloyd´s existing mainliner network, such as MIAX, SA2 or SAX.

Until above changes take effect, we will ensure the continuity of the service by offering a sailing every 3 weeks.

For any further information, please contact your local Hapag-Lloyd office.
