Shipping with our SEC service? Here's a rotation update

If you're shipping with our South America East Coast Service (SEC), here's an update that may impact your cargo planning.

Starting on September 27, 2024, our SEC service will change its rotation. The new rotation will be the following:

New York (US) – Philadelphia (US) – Charleston (US) – Jacksonville (US) – Port Everglades (US) – Santos (BR) – Buenos Aires (AR)
– Rio Grande (BR)* – Itapoa (BR) – Santos (BR) – Rio de Janeiro (BR)* – Salvador (BR) – Pecem (BR)

Please note that the new rotation considers the withdawal of the Norfolk (US) call. This port will not be called to avoid heavy delays due to the operational constraints faced in North America East coast ports.

In addition, please keep in mind the alternate omissions in Brazil* will be implemented weekly between the ports of Rio Grande* and Rio de Janeiro*. Therefore, please find below the first vessels and voyages where these modifications will apply.

First Vessels with Rio Grande Omission:

  • Vessel: MONTE TAMARO, Voyage No. 442N
  • Vessel: SUAPE EXPRESS, Voyage No. 444N

First Vessels with Rio de Janeiro Omission:

  • Vessel: MONTE VERDE, Voyage No. 443NB
  • Vessel: MONTE PASCOAL, Voyage No. 445NB

To assist your cargo planning, you can use our vessel tracker to view our vessels' latest Estimated Times of Arrival and Departure. Should you have any questions or require further assistance, please get in touch with our teams at your preferred location who will assist you with your individual situation.
