Important update – MV ESPIRITO SANTO EXPRESS

We are writing to provide an update on the serious fire incident aboard the MV ESPIRITO SANTO EXPRESS, a chartered vessel from Seaspan.

According to the latest information provided by Seaspan, firefighting operations are ongoing with efforts focused on managing the incident and stabilising the vessel. Seaspan has confirmed that all crew members are safe and accounted for.

The full extent of the incident and its potential impact on the vessel and cargo remain under assessment. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to determine the condition of individual shipments or containers. At this moment, it is also not yet possible to determine when detailed information about cargo damage will become available.

Further information will be provided by us to affected customers as soon as verified updates become available from Seaspan. At this stage, customers do not need to take any specific action unless contacted directly.
