Welcome "Hamburg Express"

On August 27th, at 2pm local time Hamburg, our newbuilding "Hamburg Express" was successfully delivered from Hanwha Shipyard to Hapag-Lloyd AG. With a capacity of 23,660 TEU, the "Hamburg Express" is the 7th of 12 newbuildings in this class.

The "Hamburg Express" will sail under German flag and will be christened in Hamburg on 4 November by Eva Maria Tschentscher, wife of the Mayor of Hamburg.

The "Hamburg Express" will leave the shipyard today. Her first portcall will be Ningbo, where she will be phased into the FE3 service.
