Further to our Customer Info of May 29, 2018, we take this opportunity to provide further updates as of today.
CP has since issued two Customer Station Bulletins.
The first Bulletin issued advising that CP is from and since 2200 May 29, 2018, experiencing events of Force Majeure as a result of the withdrawal of labour services by members of the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) - Train & Engine. Given the work stoppage by the TCRC, CP has advised that it is implementing a full shutdown of its operations in Canada.
The second Bulletin issued advising that CP and the Teamsters Canada Rail Conference (TCRC) - Train & Engine have come to a resolution. The railroad is planning to be fully operational at 2300 May 30, 2018.
