Saudi Arabia - Export/Import Regulation for Freight Forwarders

Pursuant to our previous CustomerNEWS of Feb.4, 2019 on this subject, kindly note that the new deadline for obtaining a Freight Forwarders License in Saudi Arabia is January 20, 2020.
In order to obtain the license, Maritime Agents require the following documentation to be sent to [email protected]. :

• Copy of the Commercial Register
  
• Copy of the Original Bill of Lading
  
• Copy of the invoice
  
• Letter of undertaking from the freight forwarder to extract the necessary license from the General Transport Authority for future shipments.

Once the license is provided by MAWANI, it needs to be submitted to the Shipping line in order to perform business in Saudi Arabia as a forwarder.
