With your cargo planning in mind, please note the following update on MV TIRUA V.5122, operating on our TPI Service, following an incident during berthing at Mundra Port, India, on June 4, 2025

As a result of the incident, "MV TIRUA" will undergo necessary repairs at Kandla, India leading to a delay of approximately 7–8 days. To mitigate further disruption to the overall service schedule, below you can find a revised vessel deployment plan.

Vessel Swap:

  • "TIRUA" and "TENO" will swap positions to optimize schedule recovery.

MV TENO Adjustments:

  • Will omit Salalah, Oman and Charleston, USA calls.
  • Salalah/Charleston-bound cargo from India will be rolled to the next available sailing.
  • "TENO" will resume her rotation as per proforma in Middle East.

MV TIRUA Adjustments:

  • Post-repair, "TIRUA" will call Salalah to load two weeks' worth of accumulated cargo.
  • Minor rolling may occur for some Salalah-bound shipments.
  • "TIRUA" will then proceed on her standard US-East Coast rotation (New York -> Norfolk -> Savannah -> Charleston) and is expected to return to Middle East as scheduled.

  • Export cargo originally booked on "TIRUA" will face a delay of up to 7–8 days.
  • Salalah- and Charleston-bound shipments previously scheduled on "TENO" will be rebooked on the next available sailing.
  • Cargo to/from Pakistan transiting via Salalah may also face delays of approximately one week.
  • We confirm that no cargo damage has occurred as a result of the incident.
  • No containers will be offloaded at alternative ports during this adjustment.
  • For any shipment-specific concerns or further assistance, please reach out to your respective service email contact.

We are actively monitoring the situation and doing everything possible to ensure service continuity while minimizing disruption. Should you require further assistance, please contact your nearest Hapag-Lloyd office who will guide you based on your individual situation.
