Shipping with our South America East Coast (SEC) service? Here’s a rotation update
If you are shipping with our South America East Coast (SEC) service, please note that the service will operate with an adjusted port rotation to support schedule reliability.
Salvador, Brazil, will be removed from the rotation. In addition, the seasonal call at Montevideo, Uruguay, will end with the close of the citrus season.
The revised SEC rotation will be:
- New York, USA -> Philadelphia, USA -> Charleston, USA -> Jacksonville, USA -> Port Everglades, USA -> Santos, Brazil -> Buenos Aires, Argentina -> Rio Grande, Brazil -> Itapoa, Brazil -> Santos, Brazil -> Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -> Pecem, Brazil -> New York, USA
The last planned voyages calling these ports are:
| Vessel / Voyage | Port | ETA |
|---|---|---|
| Maersk Frankfurt V.633N | Salvador, Brazil | August 27, 2026 |
| Maersk Freeport V.635N | Montevideo, Uruguay | August 29, 2026 |
Following these final calls, cargo to and from Salvador and Montevideo will continue to be served through non-direct alternatives within our network.
