Shipping from South America East Coast? A GRI is coming up

A General Rate Increase (GRI) from South America East Coast to South America West Coast, Central America, US Gulf, Mexico and the Caribbean for cargo transported in dry containers is coming up. This GRI will apply from October 1, 2026.

The details for this increase are listed below:

South America East Coast to South America West Coast – CON service

  • USD 1,000 per dry container

South America East Coast to North America, Central America and the Caribbean – GS1 service

  • USD 500 per dry container

South America East Coast to North America East Coast – SEC service

  • USD 300 per container
