Shipping from Asia and Oceania to South Africa? A PSS update is coming up

Surcharges Asia Oceania

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) update from China, Korea, Japan, Southeast Asia and Oceania to Durban and Cape Town, South Africa, is coming into effect.

This PSS will apply to all cargo loaded on board from November 3, 2026, until further notice.

The details of this PSS are listed below:

  • USD 500 per TEU
  • Equipment: All container types
