Payment Terms - Freight Prepaid & Collect

It is our aim to continuously improve our products and deliver customer excellence to our valued customers. In order to avoid any misunderstandings and resulting in invoice corrections and delay in payments, we kindly seek your assistance to:
 

1. Clearly indicate “Prepaid” or “Collect” in Shipping Instructions.
2. Follow predefined payment definitions (prepaid/collect and/or payer/collector) as per Rate Agreement or tariff.
3. Observe country specific requirement. 
4. Consider category of charge codes that must be defined under same payment terms. (eg. if THD is prepaid, TSD is prepaid.)

• SEA = all related SEA charges
  Example of SEA related charges: BUC CAF EMS EBS DGP HCA LSF CSF SMD 
• DLF = all inland related charges
  Example of DLF related charges: FSD HCD OAD DGD 
• THD = TSD and RLB 
• Specific case: when freight Prepaid is required and DLF is included into the Lump Sum, THD and RLB (when applicable) must follow the DLF and be set to Prepaid. 
• If you require ALL charges to be prepaid or collect, the SI must specifically indicate clearly or else, please indicate clearly the payment location of each charge code – this is governed by specific RA definition or Country specifics.

Please ensure that details are updated correctly in shipping instructions. Any change in invoices after release of documents (Bill of lading / delivery orders) will be subjected to approval. Please note that there will be charges incurred for changes made to invoices

• Document release: AUD 200 (subject to approval)
