South Africa: Fuel Neutrality Implementation
Please be advised that Transnet has confirmed the implementation of a Fuel Neutrality Charge effective May 1, 2026.
This charge will be invoiced per container and will apply to all containers entering or exiting both Transnet Port Terminals and Durban Gateway terminals.
Kindly note the applicable charge(s) as follows:

The fuel index will be reassessed on the 7th of each month and applied to all containers loaded or discharged on vessels berthing after 12:01 a.m. on the 1st of the following month.
