This requires implementing an Information Security Management System according to the ISO 27001 standard. A specific set of requirements and audits has been defined based on this.

The company's diligence in handling sensitive information while adhering to strict security protocols has been underlined by the award of the TISAX label. Hapag-Lloyd commissioned Lufthansa Industry Solutions with the initial assessment, thus laying the foundation for the external audit by TÜV NORD CERT GmbH.
