We have improved the handling of FMC filing for Quick Quotes and Quick Quotes Spot bookings in FMC relevant scope for our GNP customers.
In this User Guide we will take you through the steps in the customer journey.
When asked about the FMC related information, as a GNP customer you can select "NVOCC".
Please bare in mind that the FMC license holding entity must be named as "Shipper" or "Consignee" in all bills of lading covering shipments under such service contract(s).
After selecting "NVOCC", you will be presented with one of two scenarios.
- You act as an NVOCC
- You are authorized by an LoA to place bookings on behalf of the FMC license holder
In either case, the booking will be accepted and no further action on your side is required.
- You act as an NVOCC
- You are not authorized by an LoA to place bookings on behalf of the license holder
In this case, you have two options to get your booking accepted.
Option 1:
Please contact our SalesTeam via [email protected] in order to update the necessary data within the next 48 hours
- Company Name
- Company Adress
- Name of License Holding Entity incl. FMC License Number
Option 2:
The license holder can amend the global LoA by adding your entity name and address to the list of affiliates and sending us the updated version.
Once we have an LoA that authorizes you to do business on the license holder's behalf, we can link you to the license number which allows the automated FMC filing of your future booking (for the validity of the LoA).
