Logistics Management- Minor Shipping

The dual study program is only available in Germany, and fluency in German is required. The Logistics Management - Minor Shipping program is taught almost entirely in English and combines business administration, logistics, and maritime industry expertise.

The Logistics Management - Minor Shipping dual study program combines business administration, logistics, and maritime-related content with a strong focus on the entire transport chain and, in particular, sea freight transportation.

The program prepares you for a wide range of operational, strategic, and analytical tasks within our global business. Whether sea and inland transport logistics, worldwide equipment steering, strategic collaboration with port terminals, or analyses within revenue management - the program offers diverse and challenging opportunities during and after your studies.

In addition, an external course prepares you for the examination as a Shipping Clerk. This additional expertise further strengthens your understanding of the shipping business.

  • High school diploma or vocational college entrance qualification with clearly above-average results
  • Overall grade at least “good”
  • Average of at least 10 points in mathematics, English, and German
  • Alternatively: admission requirements or entrance test at HSBA
  • Strong interest in logistics, international business, and the maritime industry
  • Analytical thinking and organizational skills
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
