Who can do a calculation?

The D&D Calculator is available to customers with an activated Hapag-Lloyd web login. Web user should be linked to the shipment as a Party Function role. Some examples Shipper, Consignee, Notify Party, Agreement Party etc.

What kind of calculations are available?

Freetime and demurrage and detention costs are calculated based on a customer-provided tentative gate-out or empty gate-in date.

What is the difference between calculating separate demurrage and detention costs and combined demurrage and detention costs?

In separate demurrage and detention calculations, demurrage and detention costs are charged separately. Combined calculations are merged demurrage and detention costs.

Why can’t I calculate fees and freetime for my import shipment?

The D&D Calculator is available for many countries, but it is not yet activated worldwide. If you see a corresponding message, it means the calculator is not currently available for the country of import. Coverage is being expanded as part of our global rollout.
