INDIA – Dangerous Goods Surcharge (DGL) and Split/Merge BL Surcharge (ADO)

Please be informed that Hapag-Lloyd will implement the Dangerous Goods Surcharge (DGL) and the Split / Merge BL surcharge (ADO) in India for export shipments, effective June 17, 2019 to all trades, valid until further notice, as follows:

  • Dangerous Goods Surcharge (DGL)
Local ChargesOrigin (DGL) 20' / 40’(in INR)
Dangerous Goods 1000 / per Container
  • Split / Merge B/L Surcharge – Administration Fee Origin (ADO)
Local ChargesOrigin (ADO) 20' / 40’(in INR)
Split / Merge per B/L 1000/ per Bill of Lading

Charges will apply for all trades, including trades to and from Europe. The Ocean Base rates as well as Bunker related surcharges, Terminal Handling, Security related surcharges, Peak Season surcharges (if applicable) and other charges remain unchanged and for European trades these can be found here. Other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
