Shipping from Egypt to West Africa? There’s a PSS coming up

If you’re shipping from Egypt to West Africa, please keep in mind that a revised Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) is coming into effect. This PSS is effective from August 15, 2021.

For your reference, please find below the scope of this PSS.

  • Container size 20’ dry: USD 550

The geographical scope of these changes is described below:

  • West Africa: Benin, Congo, Ivory Coast, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal, Mauritania

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain unchanged and can be found here. Please note that other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
