Middle East and Africa Operational Updates for Week 35

Indian Ocean Service (IOS)

• Vessel Sofia Express voyage 1338W will omit Hazira, India. Hazira import cargo will discharged in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final port of destination.

Indian Subcontinent Mediterranean Express (IMX)

• Vessel Dalian Express voyage 1338W will omit Hamad, Qatar. Hamad import cargo will be discharged in Jebel Ali, UAE for further connection to their final port of destination.

Middle East – India - Africa Express (MIAX)

• Vessel Seaspan Lahore voyage 2130W will omit Apapa, Nigeria for schedule recovery measures and as part of an omission setup. Apapa import cargo will be discharged in Tincan, Nigeria for further connection to their final port of destination.

India – Arabian Gulf Service 1 (IG1)

• For cargo connection purposes with the Gulf – East Mediterranean Service (GEM) vessel CSAV Tyndall voyage 2126E, IG1 vessel Northern Dedication voyage 2133E added a call in Terminal 4 of Jebel Ali, UAE on August 25, 2021.

Indian Subcontinent Mediterranean Express (IMX)

• For cargo connection purposes with the Gulf – East Mediterranean Service (GEM) Vessel CSAV Tyndall voyage 2126E, APL Antwerp voyage 0MX9ZW1MA added a call in Terminal 4 of Jebel Ali, UAE on August 26, 2021.

Asia Gulf – Express 2 (AG2)

• There will be no sailing in the AG2 service from Shanghai, China Westbound which was expected to arrive on October 7, 2021 and from Umm Qasr, Iraq Eastbound which was expected to arrive on October 31, 2021.

South Africa – Asia Express 1 (SA1)

• There will be no sailing in the SA1 service from Qingdao, China Westbound which was expected to arrive on October 5, 2021 and from Durban, South Africa Eastbound which was expected to arrive on October 31, 2021.

South Africa – Asia Express 2 (SA2)

• There will be no sailing in the SA2 service from Kaohsiung, Taiwan Westbound which was expected to arrive on September 30, 2021 and from Durban, South Africa Eastbound which was expected to arrive on October 27, 2021

Far East – Europe Loop 3 (FE3)

• There will be omissions in Jebel Ali, UAE along with blank sailings from week 37 to 44. The FE3 service will not call Jebel Ali as follows:

  • HMM Hanbada voyage002E - October 28, 2021
  • HMM Mir 002E voyage - November 04, 2021
  • HMM Raon voyage 002E - November 11, 2021

  • HMM Daon voyage 002E - November 25, 2021
  • Blank Sailing - December 02, 2021

West Africa Service (WAX)

• Due to congestion, a schedule adjustment plan has been implemented from week 34 onwards for the entire service. The new planned arrival dates for the vessels below from Antwerp, Belgium are as follows:
  • Martha A voyage 33S21 – August 23, 2021
  • Irenes Remedy voyage 2134S – August 30, 2021
  • Abidjan Express voyage 2136S – September 6, 2021
  • Hammonia Baltica 2137S – September 13, 2021
  • Frisia Olso 2138S – September 20, 2021

South Africa Express (SAF)

• Vessel MSC Sariska voyage NZ138A will arrive in London Gateway, United Kingdom August 28, 2021. Vessel MSC Vita’s schedule will be adjusted and will arrive in London Gateway, United Kingdom September 4, 2021. Due to these changes, the new planned arrival dates for the vessels below will also be adjusted, as follows:
  • MSC Sasha voyage NZ136A – September 11, 2021
  • MSC Athens voyage NZ137A – September 18, 2021
  • MSC Brittany voyage NZ138A – September 25, 2021
  • MSC Chloe voyage NZ139A – October 2, 2021
