Shipping from India and Pakistan? A BCF and FIO are coming up

A Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) and Weight Deviation Fee (FIO) are coming into effect for exports from India and Pakistan. The BCF and FIO will be applicable from February 5, 2024, for all non-FMC trades and from March 6, 2024, for all FMC trades. Both, BCF and FIO will be valid until further notice.

The details for these fees are listed below:

India

• Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) USD 300 per container
• Weight Deviation Fee (FIO) USD 400 per container

Pakistan

• Booking Cancellation Fee (BCF) USD 200 per container
• Weight Deviation Fee (FIO) USD 400 per container
