Shipping from Indian Subcontinent & Middle East to North America? A PSS is coming up

A Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Indian Subcontinent & Middle East to North America for cargo transported in 20’ and 40’ Dry, Reefer and Special containers, including High Cube equipment is coming up. This GRI/ GRA adjustment is applicable to all containers gated in full from July 1, 2024, and is valid until further notice.

Amounts will be applicable as follows:

Indian Subcontinent & Middle East* to North America West Coast:

  • USD 2000 per Container 

West and North Coast of India*' to United States East Coast:

  • USD 500 per Container
  • The implementation date for East and South India**, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka remains June 17, 2024 as per our previous announcement

*Indian Subcontintent & Middle East: India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Jordan

*'West and North Coast of India: Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Pipavav, Hazira
**East and South India: Chennai, Kochin, Mangalore, Tuticorin, Visakhapatnam, Kattupalli, Haldia, Kolkata, Krishnapatnam
