An Equipment Imbalance Surcharge (EIS) is coming into effect for shipments from India to South and North Europe*. This EIS is applicable for all sailings commencing on July 1, 2024, until further notice.

The details for this EIS are listed below:

From India to South & North Europe:

  • USD 300 per 20' Dry Container

*North Europe: Germany, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Belgium, France, Poland, Denmark, Sweden, Ireland, Norway, Finland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Hungary, Latvia, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, Estonia, Iceland, Luxembourg
*South Europe: Spain, Portugal, Italy, Algeria, Morocco, Malta, Tunisia, Albania, Bulgaria, Croatia, Georgia, Greece, Israel, Montenegro, Libya, Romania, Cyprus, Slovenia, Lebanon, Turkey, Ukraine, Egypt

The Ocean Tariff rates as well as Bunker-related surcharges, Security-related surcharges, Terminal Handling Charges (THCs) remain as announced and can be found here. Please note that other local charges and contingency surcharges may apply.
