Shipping from Far East, West Coast of South America, Mexico, Central America the Caribbean? A GRI is coming up
We would like to inform you of an upcoming General Rate Increase (GRI) on our services from Far East* Baseports to West Coast of South America, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean** effective July 8, 2025 until further notice (and effective July 25, 2025 for Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands).
In order to continue providing reliable and high-quality service, we will be implementing a rate adjustment as follows:
Far East to South America West Coast & Mexico West Coast:
Current rates:
- 20’ DRY: USD 2,100
- 40’ DRY: USD 2,400
- 40’ NOR: USD 2,100
New rates:
- 20’ DRY: USD 2,600
- 40’ DRY: USD 3,400
- 40’ NOR: USD 3,100
Far East to West Coast Central America (including GTPRQ):
Current rates:
- 20’ DRY: USD 3,600
- 40’ DRY: USD 4,000
- 40’ NOR: USD 3,800
New rates:
- 20’ DRY: USD 4,100
- 40’ DRY: USD 5,000
- 40’ NOR: USD 4,800
Far East to Caribbean (including Panama):
Current rates:
- 20’ DRY: USD 5,200
- 40’ DRY: USD 5,700
- 40’ NOR: USD 5,200
New rates:
- 20’ DRY: USD 5,700
- 40’ DRY: USD 6,700
- 40’ NOR: USD 6,200
This adjustment reflects an increase of USD 500 per TEU and is applicable to our entire Far East to South America West Coast, and Caribbean services (base ports and outports).
*Far East: China, Macau, Hongkong South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Laos and Brunei
**West Coast of South America, Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean: Mexico, Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Chile, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Honduras, Guatemala, Panama, Venezuela, Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands.
