A Contingency Surcharge (CSU) is coming into effect between Djibouti, (DJ) & Port Sudan (SD) and Africa, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent.

The details for this CSU are listed below:

  • USD 1,500 (EUR 1,275) per TEU for standard containers
  • USD 3,500 (EUR 3,000) per container for reefer containers and special equipment
  • Effective from March 3, 2026 from / to Africa, Europe, Middle East and Indian Subcontinent
  • Effective from April 3, 2026 from / to North and Latin America
